by Family (a.k.a. Life on a Stick) is a comedy
about a "modern" couple — Rick and Michelle
— faced with the tricky challenge of raising children
from previous marriages. Rick's son, Laz, 18, is laid back
and "laz"y — no job and not looking for one
either. Michelle's daughter, Molly, is an angst-ridden
16-year-old who wants to shut herself off from the world.
And
then...there's Gus, the 8 year old son who the parents adore
and the step-siblings resent. Since the parents think he's
a walking miracle, the other kids feel left out and only...related
by family. Maybe life without Gus can be arranged...?
